So true!

One of my dear friends wrote this poem about brothers, And it is so true! Take some time read it and then comment telling her if you liked it! We love hearing from you or if you have encouragement, Comments or Questions about our blog or the things we talk about let us know! Alright here is the poem:  

Brothers are....

 

ready to help when you can't do it and ready to tease you because they can,

 

always trying to give us something to laugh about.

 

wonderful friends and companions, (when they want to be)

 

always ready to point something out that you did wrong, and show you how there way is better.

 

but all together brothers are fun, And I will love my brother till time is done.

A bit late..

But still. I was wondering  how your Get to know your brother week went?  I need story's on how your week went. I learned ALOT more about Pippin, his favorite sport, his favorite players, his favorite.. Everything I could think of!! One story of a question I asked went like this:
ME: Soooo what is your favorite football player?
Pippin: Percy Jackson. Why?
Me: I'm doing Get to know your brothers week. I told you every day this week!
Pippin: Oh yeah!
Me: RIGHTTT!!
That's right I told him EVERY day this week!!

Get to know your brother week!

Did you ever realize how much you may not know about your brother??? I mean I thought I knew ALOT about Pippin, until we started writing our about us post!
I then realized I didn't know his favorite color or candy bar!!
Those are little things but I want to know all about him!! so this week, we girls are going to be asking our brothers lots of questions in order to get to know them better!
So try and find out things you don't know about them for instance: Who is their favorite football player or baseball  player and so on.... I have a list of things you could ask if your not sure what to ask!

1. What is your favorite song?
2. What is your favorite game? (board game, video game, etc...)
3. What are some of your favorite things to do?
4. What is your favorite movie?

5. What's your favorite snack?  And so on..
6. What is your favorite sport?
7. What is your favorite type of car?
They may not be very exciting, but do you know the answers to all those questions?

Hey Mary and Pippin here, Coming to you lovely folks to tell you a little about ourselves!

Pippin: My real name is Dylan. I'm 17 and I have two older brothers who don't live at home anymore. So I live at home with my five sisters.(more about that later.) I've been homeschooled since I was eight and I love it! I was saved by the grace of God when I was 7 and I'm still amazed He died on the cross for me! My favorite color is red, my favorite candy bar is Whatchamacallit (not kidding it really is called Whatchamacallit!) My favorite movies are Pirates of the Caribbean series, or all of the  Lord of the Rings movies. And my favorite book of the Bible is Proverbs. Well thanks for getting to know me!

Mary: My real name is Hope. I'm 14 and have four younger sisters and three older brothers! I've been homeschooled all my life and I love it! When I was five I realized that God loved me and I wanted to have a personal relationship with Him. So I asked Him to come into my life and I haven't been the same since! My favorite color is pink. My favorite candy bar is a Kitkat!  My favorite movies are Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Tangled, Anne of Green Gables, and alot more but a new favorite is Lord of the Rings! My all time favorite book of the Bible is.....Esther! Thanks so much for getting to know me!
